Globally, the world has completed a total of 2,583 two-hundred-meter-plus (200 m+) buildings and 253 supertall (300 m+) buildings through 2025. The number of 200 m+ buildings worldwide has now doubled since 2017, and another 394 are currently under construction.
The 141 completions in 2025, marginally higher than the prior year, marked a 1.4% increase from 2024. This was the 12th consecutive year with over 100 completions.
The tallest building to complete in 2025 was the JPMorgan Chase World Headquarters, in New York City, at 423 meters.
